Life-changing boarding school bursaries for boys aged 11-18
who have attended our Young Leaders Programme.

SYLA allowed me to attend a boarding school called Royal Alexandra and Albert school. I realised this was a chance that I cannot miss. It was a very diverse school which allowed me to settle in much more easily. My boarding school experience was like no other. I am very grateful for my opportunity, and because of the support, I am planning to take computer science at university next year. Timothy, SYLA Alumnus. Every year, our Scholars Programme offers a small number of eligible boys, aged 11-16, the opportunity to gain a full bursary to attend a state or independent secondary boarding school to experience a transformative education. This initiative is offered in partnership with the Royal National Children’s Springboard Foundation.

Our Scholars Programme is open to boys that have successfully completed one full stage of our Young Leaders Programme. Scholars and their parents receive tailored SYLA support with the application process, during their preparation and transition to boarding school, and throughout their entire boarding school journey.
